Walter Novellino admits it’s “a big disappointment” to be sacked by Palermo after four games in charge.

The Coach was appointed by the Rosanero on March 10, but confirmed yesterday that he had been sacked after no wins in his short tenture.

Today President Maurizio Zamparini confirmed that Davide Ballardini will return, and his predecessor thinks the instability is bad for the club.

“We could have won against Napoli, and that would have been quite a coup,” Novellino said on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“I also liked some other performances. I would have expected something more from my experience with Palermo, for me it’s a big disappointment.

“Palermo could be fighting for more, but they lack security. For example, an extraordinary player like [Franco] Vazquez was not calm.”
