Walter Novellino has arrived in Sicily to take over as Palermo Coach and says ‘let’s hope I won’t be sacked’
The 62-year-old will replace Beppe Iachini and incredibly become the seventh different Coach to sit on the Rosanero bench this season.
“What encouraged me to come here? It’s my job,” he said to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website.
“I had the chance and we hope to do great things. It doesn’t seem right to say what Palermo told me, they need a lot of enthusiasm and I’ve got it.

“I haven’t asked for any guarantees. My desire is great, the fans are fantastic and we hope to give them a lot of satisfaction.”
