Novara earned their first top flight status in 55 years via the play-offs and have strengthened their squad with a veteran.
It is now official they have signed 33-year-old Parma defender Paci, ending his five-year stint at the Stadio Tardini.
Palermo also made a new buy, as Chievo have sold defender Mantovani to the Rosanero.
He signed a four-year contract today and has already arrived for pre-season training.
