Nottingham Forest are currently completing a deal with Atalanta for Remo Freuler and they’re also reportedly keen on picking up Ruslan Malinovskyi as well.

The newly promoted Premier League side have been working hard to improve their squad this summer and they’re on the verge of completing a move for Freuler, who is joining the club in a deal worth around €9m plus €3m in add-ons. Talks between the two clubs went well and another player seemingly came up in conversation.

As reported by TMW, Nottingham Forest also registered their interest in Malinovskyi and they’re now preparing an offer to try and convince Atalanta to sell the 29-year-old Ukrainian forward.

Malinovskyi’s current contract expires with Atalanta next year, giving the English side a strong foundation to start from. Their initial offer sits at around €15m including add-ons.

Last season, the Ukrainian forward did well despite la Dea’s struggles and he ended the season with 10 goals and seven assists in 41 appearances across all competitions.

  1. I dont understand why move from Atalanta where you have the chance of reaching top 4 and playing in the champions league instead of fighting relegation in the premier league.
