Schalke 04 sporting director Horst Heldt says there’s ‘nothing new’ with Juventus for Julian Draxler, but there could be in the coming days.
The Bianconeri have been pursuing the German international all summer, but had their first bid for the playmaker rejected after agreeing a deal with the player.
“There’s nothing new on Draxler,” Heldt told assembled media in the pre-match Press conference ahead of the Wolfsburg game.
“Final contacts could arrive in the coming days.”

However, Heldt also hinted that it would take a very large offer for them to consider selling the 21-year-old.
“We have no interest in selling players who we’d planned to have for the whole season.”
