Agnelli and the other nine board members confirmed his resignation on Monday evening. Exor, the holding company with a controlling stake in the club, have named Gianluca Ferrero as his successor.

Agnelli took over at the club in 2010, becoming the most successful President in the history of the club, winning 19 trophies in 12 seasons with the men’s first team.
