According to Sky Sport Italia, Arsenal have joined Tottenham in the race to sign Bologna defender Takehiro Tomiyasu.
The 22-year-old was reportedly close to joining Tottenham Hotspur despite Spurs’ opening €18m bid had been rejected by Bologna.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Rossoblu want at least €20m to sell the Japan international and Arsenal have now joined the race to sign the centre-back.
Meantime, Bologna have already secured the services of Tomiyasu’s potential replacement, having announced the signing of Kevin Bonifazi from SPAL last week.
