Nordin Amrabat, brother of Fiorentina and Morocco midfielder Sofyan, discussed his brother’s future and why he’d be a great fit for Paris Saint-Germain.

The 26-year-old Viola midfielder has been one of the standout stars in the Morocco squad at the World Cup in Qatar, playing a vital role in their historic rise to the semi-finals. Amrabat has truly announced himself on the world stage and a high-profile move away from Fiorentina only seems like a matter of time now.

Speaking to NOS, Nordin Amrabat discussed his brother Sofyan’s future and why a move to the French capital would suit him.

“The World Cup is as important a tournament as the Champions League, maybe even bigger. It is normal that Sofyan is the centre of attention given how he is playing in this competition.

“In my opinion, he would be perfect for PSG. To see him alongside Verratti would be a dream. I think Al Khelaifi should act immediately if he reads my words.”

The 26-year-old Amrabat has played every available minute for Morocco at the World Cup, playing with pain injections in their 120-minute Round of 16 clash with Spain. He has already helped make history with the Atlas Lions and will be dreaming of a World Cup final, although reigning champions France stand in the way.
