Antonio Nocerino started his Parma adventure, but said Torino Coach Giampiero Ventura “treated me like an idiot.”

The Milan-owned midfielder interrupted his loan spell at Torino six months early and will spend the rest of the season at the Stadio Tardini.

“I thank Torino for these six months, but I was referring solely to the Coach when I complained,” said Nocerino in today’s Press conference.

“Ventura treated me like an idiot. I was educated to give respect and never had problems with Coaches before.

“Ventura told me a load of rubbish, as if I was 15 years old. I have over 400 games under my belt in professional football, so that irritated me.

“I am 30 years old and do not like being taken for a fool. He played defenders in midfield and I said nothing, but he told me too many lies. ‘You are important,’ he said, but then I never played.

“He told me all sorts of things, that after the Roma game my season would begin. Yet I was never picked, it was all lies.

“Torino gave me an opportunity, but this is football. I am not happy to be judged without playing. I’m not an idiot.”

Nocerino seemed more impressed with Parma and is reunited with an old friend in Antonio Cassano.

“We all want to achieve a miracle together. This club has done well for many years and we know that with three or four positive results we’ll be right back up there.

“Cassano is one of the talents who really makes the difference in Italy. He’s fundamental for us and we need to make the most of his quality.

“I’d love to shine at Parma so I can get back into the Nazionale too. People said I only scored goals at Milan thanks to Ibrahimovic, but I think I deserve a bit of credit too.”
