Milan are starting to look ahead to the January transfer window and have a plan in mind regarding Club Brugge’s Noa Lang and Spezia’s Jakub Kiwior.
The Rossoneri are keen to maintain their growth and momentum following last year’s Scudetto success and new owners Gerry Cardinale and RedBird have no intention of taking their foot off the gas in the Lombardy capital. The main focus is currently the contract renewal of Rafael Leao but the club are also paying attention to possible reinforcements in January.
As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, recent rumours have heavily linked Milan with Club Brugge’s Lang, partly based on the fact that his agent is currently in Italy. In reality, Lang’s agent is in Bergamo, discussing Teun Koopmeiners with Atalanta.
The Rossoneri have had no further contact with the 23-year-old Dutch forward or his entourage and seem unlikely to make a move for him in January.
Milan are interested in Spezia talent Kiwior, who is continuing to prove his qualities as one of the most promising defenders in Italy, but have not held advanced talks with his entourage. No talks have been opened with the Ligurian club either and there’s no guarantees that they’ll make a move for the Pole in January.
So in other words, Milan are unlikely to sign either of them. Wow, how fascinating.
For me there’s no doubt we need strengthening in ALL three lines : defense, midfield, attack. But if somebody arrives for each line, someone has to go. Squad is too crowded.
Priority wise : we need a great right-winger, an alternative to Bennacer, a good center-back (preferably left-footed), and a great, young striker (can wait until the summer).
