The main headline on today’s edition of the Italian daily claims the Giallorossi have indentified the Argentina international, who currently plays for Boca Juniors, as a new transfer target.

The 22-year-old winger, previously wanted by both Inter and Napoli, is said to have a release clause of €34m in his contract.

Corriere claim Roma sporting director Monchi is considering triggering the clause as he continues his search for a winger following the failed deal to sign Malcom from Bordeaux a fortnight ago.

However, upon reading the rumours, Pavon’s agent Fernando Hidalgo took to Twitter to categorically deny the player will be moving to the Italian capital.

“No way. There is no chance,” Hidalgo wrote in reaction to the speculation.
