The agent of Giacomo Bonaventura says no deal is in place for his client to leave Atalanta during the month of January.
The versatile midfielder has a host of admirers in Serie A and there are reports that he may be targeted by Roma.
“It is too soon to say what will happen,” Giocondo Martorelli told calciomercato.com. “There are still four games to go before the Christmas break.
“But you can’t exclude anything. Today, there is no negotiation in place, but the market will liven up in January.
“Sometimes deals can be wrapped up in minutes or be decided by an injury to someone.
“If an enticing offer is made then it will be evaluated, otherwise he’ll be happy to keep giving his contribution to Atalanta.”
The representative added: “Roma? They are a big club and their interest is obviously pleasing, but they are not the only side to have asked about Giacomo.
“Juventus, Napoli, Fiorentina and Inter have also called me.”
Bonaventura should be available for the game against Roma this weekend after recovering from a thigh strain.
