With DigitalBits defaulting on their payments to Inter, La Gazzetta Dello Sport reports that Nerazzurri will remove their main sponsor from kits by the end of October.

Zytara had become Inter’s main sponsor in the summer through their digital blockchain firm DigitalBits, but failed to shore up the summer instalment and will likely miss out on October too.

The Nerazzurri took action in August by removing their names from kits of the Primavera and Women’s teams and the same will happen with the senior squad by the end of October, claims La Gazzetta Dello Sport.

Inter have been looking for a new kit sponsor for several weeks, but if they fail to find an agreement with a new company by the time they remove DigitalBits from their kits, they’d have no sponsor starting from next month.

Inter ended the historical partnership with Pirelli in 2021 after 26 years, replacing the tyre manufacturer with Fan Token provider Socios. After only a year, they too were replaced in favour of DigitalBits.
