Stefano Sensi should be back for Inter after the international break as his club confirm he only suffered a muscle pull.

Sensi was forced off in the first half during Inter’s 2-1 defeat to Juventus on Sunday, and the issue ruled him out of Italy’s Euro 2020 qualifiers with Greece and Liechtenstein.

However, a statement on the Nerazzurri’s official website assured he would be back in a few days, having only pulled the adductor muscles in his right thigh.

Nonetheless, he will still be reassessed a few days, at which point both the extent of his muscle problem and date of his return will be better determined.

The midfielder has made an instant impact for Inter since his summer arrival from Sassuolo, scoring three goals in his first seven games.
