Juventus hopefuls Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal were crushed in the midfield competition in favour of Andres Iniesta, Toni Kroos and Angel Di Maria, while Carlos Tevez could not inch in with the stellar trio of Cristiano Ronaldo, Arjen Robben and Lionel Messi.

Gigi Buffon was out-voted by FIFA Ballon d’Or finalist Manuel Neuer.
