“A lot of things are being written and taken for granted,” Silvano Martina told Tutto Juve in an interview.
“There has been no meeting and not even a conversation about a possible renewal. We are at a delicate point of the season and Buffon is thinking about football.
“There is plenty of time to discuss an extension seeing as there is still a year and a half to go on his existing deal.”
Buffon joined Juventus from Parma in 2001 for a massive £32m and he stayed loyal to the club following their demotion to Serie B in 2006.
