Massimiliano Allegri has avoided any punishment from the authorities after a reported outburst in the tunnel after Juventus’ exit from the Coppa Italia at the semi-final stage at the hands of Inter on Wednesday night.

The Juve coach was reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport to have hurled insults at Inter directors Beppe Marotta and Dario Baccin in the tunnel of the Stadio Meazza, telling them that they would ‘finish sixth anyway.’

However, the Lega Serie A press release after the cup semi-final had no mention of the incident involving Allegri and the 55-year-old will not face any type of sanction.

Two sets of fines were handed out in the aftermath of the Coppa Italia clash, one to each team, and both for launching flares into the sectors of the stadium occupied by the opposing supporters.

Juventus will have to pay €8,000 for their supporters’ actions, whilst Inter will pay €6,000 as the league only identified one standalone incident.
