The FIGC has accepted the plea bargain agreed by Juventus and Prosecutor Giuseppe Chiné so the Bianconeri won’t be given a new points deduction, although ex-President Andrea Agnelli has refused the agreement and will go on trial.

The second FIGC trial looking into Juventus’ salary manoeuvres, relationships with agents and clubs took place in Rome on Tuesday morning. The court has accepted the agreement between the Bianconeri and FIGC Prosecutor Chiné, meaning the club will only get a fine in the region of €700,000 and no more points deduction.

The agreement between Juve and Chiné means the club practically admits the wrongdoing of their ex-directors and give up on the appeal in exchange for a sentence reduced by one-third.

The trial was supposed to take place on June 15 but was moved to Tuesday morning after the agreement between the two parties on Monday night.

A proceeding will still take place on June 15 as former President Andrea Agnelli has refused an agreement with Chiné deciding to go on trial on that same day. The ex-Chairman could still try to make a deal with the FIGC Prosecutor before mid-June.
