Monaco had been put forward as a possible destination for Sarri if he left Napoli in the summer, but Vadim Vasilyev made it clear Jardim – who led the Rouges et Blancs to the Ligue 1 title last year – was going nowhere.
“We contacted the Vice-President of Monaco, who allowed us to say that he wasn’t releasing any interviews because [Monaco] still have two games left in Ligue 1,” Radio Crc’s Raffaele Auriemme told the station.
“But when I asked him about Sarri to Monaco, he laughed and said, ‘the only answer I can give you is that we’ve taken it all from the Press. Jardim is our Coach and will stay 100 percent.’”
