Lega Serie A chief Luigi De Siervo has pledged to “go and get racists one by one” with facial-recognition technology.
Serie A has been heavily criticised for not doing enough to tackle racism, when it has already helped catch people guilty of illegally streaming matches.
However, De Siervo assured at a summit in Capri: “We’re putting out not only a sporting event but also a set of values.
“There are racists in our stadiums and we, who have zero tolerance on this, will go and get them one by one.
