The agent of Fiorentina stopper Facundo Roncaglia has dismissed the possibility of a January transfer for his client.

The Argentine has only been used in four League games so far this term, a number which has raised doubts about his future.

“I’ve spoken with technical director Eduardo Macia over the last few days,” Claudio Curti told Firenze Viola on Friday.

“We discussed Facundo and his future. I can assure you that he will remain with Fiorentina during the month of January.

“No concrete offer has arrived for him. He has a contract until 2016 and he is very happy in Florence.

“If an important offer was to arrive then the club and the player would consider it – but not during January.”

The 26-year-old was netted in 2012 from Boca Juniors after loan spells at Espanyol and Estudiantes.
