Federico Chiesa was replaced after 84 minutes against Spezia, but scans have reportedly revealed the Juventus winger has not suffered an injury setback.

The Italy international returned from international duty with a flexor injury this month and Allegri confirmed he asked to be subbed after scoring against Spezia due to the problem.

Chiesa vs. Spezia: One goal, 19 duels won and eight chances created

His flexor was tight towards the end of the match in Liguria and he watched the rest of the game with an ice pack on his painful and fatigued leg.

But Calciomercato.com reports the scans this morning ruled out an injury and the winger should be available for the next games against Sampdoria, Chelsea and Torino.

Allegri, however, might want to manage the 23-year-old’s workload to avoid a setback of the muscular issue in the coming weeks.

Chiesa has played four times in Serie A this term and scored his first league goal against the Aquilotti on Wednesday night.
