It seems now that the deal will not go through as his agent Jose Rodriguez revealed he had no contacts recently with the Nerazzurri.
“For the moment I have no news and nobody got in touch in the last few hours to discuss a transfer of Felipe to Milan,” he told FcInterNews.com.

“For the moment I have no news and nobody got in touch in the last few hours to discuss a transfer of Felipe to Milan,” he told FcInterNews.com.
“Now the situation is changing substantially and we're about to sign with another club.
“We all know that [Coach Roberto] Mancini holds the player in the highest esteem, and that feeling is reciprocal.
“But there must have been other, different considerations made within the club.
“The Coach would have liked for Felipe to come, while other members of the club were pushing for different players.”
At the same time, the agent had no qualms in revealing that Felipe's new destination would be in Brazil.
“I can comfortably say that the deal with Cruzeiro is coming to a close.
“We're counting on getting everything settled in the space of a few days.
“The player's transfer to the Mineirao could be official between Monday and Tuesday.”
