Brazilian striker Robinho says he has no desire to return to Milan, insisting he’s at Santos for the long-haul.
The Rossoneri loaned the forward to Santos in the summer, but are still paying 40 per cent of the player’s salary – a reported €120,000 per month.
Such a figure would probably lead to Robinho having to take a wage cut to stay with Santos, but the former Manchester City striker says he doesn’t want to return to Italy.

“My desire is to stay here [at Santos] for a long time,” Robinho explained to Globoesporte.
“I hope to stay here for many more years, because I want to continue to bring joy to the fans.
“I hope I get my wish, but I don’t know how it will end.
“Milan hold my contract, so it’s not entirely up to me, but I’ll do everything I can to stay here.”
Santos President Odilio Rodrigues echoed the player’s words, and said the club are ready to speak with Milan.
“We agree with Robinho: he wants to stay here and we want the same thing.
“He has a great relationship with the fans and we are ready to discuss his contract with Milan.”
