Despite rumours from England, Milan have not reportedly received a bid from Arsenal for Sandro Tonali as they work on tying him down to a new deal.

Reports from the Mirror and TVPlay yesterday suggested that the Gunners approached the Rossoneri to explore a deal for the Italian midfielder, where they apparently offered more than €50m for the player.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Milan have never received such an approach from Arsenal and no offer has been made for Tonali, allowing them to work on his contract renewal in peace. The midfielder wants to become an emblematic figure for the club and is keen to sign a new deal.

Tonali’s current contract expires in 2026 and the Rossoneri are looking to extend this by a year and raise the Italian’s salary, rewarding him for a strong outing in their Scudetto winning campaign. His new wages will reportedly be around €3.5m net per season plus add-ons.

  1. Stop embarra.ssing yourself with crap like that @Jimbo. Last I remember, your whole side of the city were seeing stars at the end of the season. Wink.

  2. Milan Fan, great to get it going again, thanks! But as an honest fan, you’ll admit Tonali is just disappointing; and I’m not talking about those few shiny minutes last season. I wish you the best! Giggles.
