Davide Nicola will pick the best line-up against Lazio and insists Torino deserve Serie A survival.

The Granata face Lazio in the rescheduled fixture from matchday 25 on Tuesday.

The game was postponed due to a COVID outbreak that hit the Granata in March.

“I do care about our strengths, not Lazio’s. They have a quality team, but we must be ourselves,” Nicola said at a press conference.

“We didn’t manage our energies properly in the last two games. We want everything and we want it now, but we don’t want to burn out.”

Benevento’s draw against Crotone on Sunday means Torino need just one point in the last two games to gain Serie A survival.

However, they play the last match of the season on Sunday against their direct rivals Benevento.

“Their draw changes nothing to us because we want to earn points. We must be focused and work on ourselves," Nicola said.

“I don’t care about the others’ results, the most important game for us is the next one.”

Andrea Belotti scored against Spezia on Saturday, but has only netted twice in the last 13 games. He is also one yellow card away from suspension so he'll need to take extra care against the Biancocelesti.

“He is an experienced player and would know how to control himself. I’ll pick the best line-up, the most important thing is to field a competitive team. We deserve Serie A survival," Nicola concluded.
