Real Madrid talent Nico Paz has arrived in Italy to complete his transfer to Como and will have the medical on Friday morning.

This is going to be a permanent transfer worth €6m, but the Merengues are owed 50 per cent of the sell-on fee.

The reigning Champions of Europe also crucially retain a buy-back clause in case he impresses enough in Serie A to earn a swift return.

The attacking midfielder or right-sided winger turns 20 next month and has already made eight senior appearances for Real Madrid, scoring in the 4-2 Champions League victory over Napoli in November 2023.

Former Barcelona captain Sergi Roberto is also expected tomorrow to undergo his Como medical, reuniting with his old teammate and now coach Cesc Fabregas.
