Fiorentina’s record signing Nicolas Gonzalez has arrived in Florence, ready to start his new adventure with the Viola shirt.

The Argentine arrived at the Peretola airport this morning after Fiorentina reached an agreement to sign the Argentina international for €27 millions including bonuses from Stuttgart.

Gonzalez arrives after his extended holidays, as he played five times for the Albiceleste at Copa America this summer, when Lionel Scaloni’s men went all they way in the competition.

The winger arrived in Italy just after 11.30 local time in a private plane from Argentina, with a stopover in Madrid.

Sky Sport Italia reports he will carry out his medical examinations, which he partly did with the national team, and the procedures of the anti-COVID protocol.

He will be subject to a series of coronavirus tests during seven days of quarantine, but the player should be able to train individually at the sports centre.
