M’Baye Niang “would say no” to offers to leave Milan, but could join Paris Saint-Germain “one day”.

The forward has three goals and two assists in his seven Serie A appearances so far this season, and is aiming to help the Rossoneri back into the Champions League.

“I don’t feel irreplaceable, but a leader, yes,” Niang admitted in an interview with La Repubblica.

“I can become a champion if I work hard. This Milan wants to prove that we belong in the Champions League again.

“No-one will leave, we were lacking certainties, lacking the Milan feeling but now we have a tactical identity, a united squad and defensive solidity.

“I’ve already rejected big offers, and what’s more I would say no today. This is a project founded on youth, there’s less fear in Italy even if some clubs prefer more experienced players.

“We have the right mix, if you rely on the group you’re less vulnerable, you can go far.

“PSG in the future? One day, why not? I wore number 78 for my département, Yvelines, but for now I’ll hold onto Milan and the 11.”
