Carlos Augusto has emerged as one of the most exciting left backs in Italy and Newcastle United are reportedly gearing up to submit an offer for the Monza man in the summer.
The Brazilian full back joined the Biancorossi in September 2020 from Corinthians for around €4m and quickly impressed in Serie B, proving himself capable of playing in the topflight following the team’s promotion.
This season, Carlos Augusto has exceeded expectations, scoring six goals and providing five assists in 31 Serie A appearances, attracting the attention of top Italian clubs like Inter and Juventus.
As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, several Premier League clubs are also interested in picking up Carlos Augusto this summer, one of which is Newcastle United. Should they secure qualification to the Champions League, the Magpies would move to make an offer for the 24-year-old.
