Dean Huijsen is continuing to attract attention from around Europe, with Newcastle United now setting their sights on the Juventus teenager, reports detail.

The 19-year-old Dutch-Spaniard joined the Bianconeri’s youth system back in July 2021 and progressed up the ranks before breaking into the first team back in November, where he made his debut under Massimiliano Allegri in a 1-0 win over Milan.

Juventus sent Huijsen out to Roma on loan in January and he showed a number of positives during his six months in the capital, prompting them to explore a new loan deal. The Old Lady declined, wanting to cash in on the teenager this summer.

Page four of today’s Tuttosport details how Newcastle have put Huijsen in their crosshairs ahead of the summer transfer window, interested in competing with Borussia Dortmund for the talented teenager.

Juventus want to sell the 19-year-old to help fund their market objectives, so have set a circa €30m price tag on the defender, who is contracted to the club to June 2028.
