Thiaw is not on the market, but according to Tuttosport newspaper, Milan are open to listening to offers.

Newcastle have yet to submit a formal bid to the Rossoneri, but an official proposal is expected soon.

Milan have already identified a potential reinforcement in central defence: RB Salzburg’s Strahinja Pavlovic, but the Rossoneri may sign the Serbia international regardless of Thiaw’s move to Newcastle.

Pavlovic has already agreed to personal terms with Milan, and the Rossoneri are negotiating with his club, knowing that they’ll need at least €20m to secure the defender’s signature.
