Napoli are anxiously awaiting news from Uruguay, as their new signing Mathias Olivera was stretchered off in tears after a knee injury.
The left-back was on international duty for Uruguay in a match against Panama this evening when brought down by a late tackle.
He seemed to be in a great deal of pain, clutching onto his left knee, and was in tears as he left the field.
Initial reports suggest a serious sprain and he could be out of action for several weeks.
Napoli have secured Olivera from Getafe for €11m plus bonuses.
