Lazio tested out a 4-2-3-1 formation in a 23-0 pre-season friendly against a local team, with Tijjani Noslin and Loum Tchaouna scoring a hat-trick each.

The Aquile are working in their traditional Auronzo di Cadore training camp in the mountains to get away from the stifling heat of the Italian summer.

Coach Marco Baroni tried out a 4-2-3-1 tactical system and in the second half used all the new arrivals, other than Nuno Tavares, who just arrived today from Arsenal.

Lazio run riot in Auronzo

The game ended 23-0 against local team Auronzo and the stars were Pedro, Noslin, Sana Fernandes and Tchaouna, who bagged a hat-trick each.

Noslin was used largely as a wide or support striker for Hellas Verona, but here took the role of centre-forward with Tchaouna, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Sana Fernandes behind him.

It has been a rather chaotic pre-season for Lazio, who saw Maurizio Sarri resign in March and his replacement Igor Tudor walk away over the summer.
