Today’s meeting between Juventus and Paulo Dybala’s agent went well and they are set to discuss his contract extension again on Saturday.
According to multiple sources, Jorge Antun and business manager Carlos Novel met with Bianconeri chiefs for the second time this afternoon, after yesterday’s initial chat.
This meeting lasted just over an hour, suggesting not much was defined in-depth, but it did confirm the general sense that Dybala will pen a new deal.
His current contract is due to expire at the end of the season and Juventus cannot afford to have him walk away as a free agent.
There has seemingly been progress on the terms of the contract, with a proposal of €8m per season wages compared to the €10m request.
The 27-year-old Argentina international first came to Juve in 2015 at a cost of €40m from Palermo.
He has gone on to score 100 goals in 254 competitive matches in the Bianconeri jersey.
