A new logo for the Italy national team has been leaked by Footy Headlines ahead of the switch to kit sponsors Adidas.

The version on the website will be more curved rather than pointed at the end, with an outline in Azzurri blue.

The four stars over the top, representing the four World Cup trophies won by Italy, will also be changed from gold to blue.

It is effectively a revamp based on the confirmed new logo for the FIGC, the Italian Football Federation, which was launched late last year.

That was changed to a blue circle with the Italian flag at the top and bottom, and the four stars in blue.

The latest logo has been in place only since 2017, with gold around the blue shield and four gold stars.

The new logo is expected to be launched in 2023, coinciding with the change from Puma to new Italy kit sponsors Adidas.

  1. It’s simple and less glamorous which I guess suits Italian football at the moment.personally I much prefer the gold trim and gold stars. The new logo kinda has a cheap imitation look about it. Anyway, as Azzurrofan says, let’s hope it brings lots of success.

  2. Trying to picture how it stands out on a home shirt looking like that. On a white away shirt, it would suit potentially
