Milan midfielder Lucas Biglia was on the verge of his comeback when he sprained his knee, reportedly with ligament damage.

According to multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia and Tuttomercatoweb, the Argentina international sprained his right knee with suspected collateral medial ligament damage during today’s training session.

He had just returned to the squad after a month out with a left thigh strain.

Biglia has played only seven competitive games for the Rossoneri this season.
