Chievo face a new hearing over alleged false accounting, despite avoiding punishment today.
The Flying Donkeys were not charged due to a technicality, with the prosecutor erroneously denying the club a hearing by July 15, thinking that the deadline had expired.
As a result, the FIGC returned the case to the prosecutor's office, to resubmit the charges in the proper manner.
There will therefore be a hearing next week, after which the court can fix a date for a new trial, which SportMediaset believes will be between August 6 and 10.

The prosecutor had requested a 15 point deduction for last season, which would have seen Chievo relegated.
That means a verdict must be reached before August 19, as that’s when the Serie A season begins.
Cesena were found guilty in the same process, and will be deducted 15 points in whichever league they register for next season.
Crotone would replace Chievo in Serie A if they are deducted enough points to be retrospectively relegated.
