After the 1-0 win over Juventus, the Streghe can smile and breathe again, as Tuttomercatoweb reports they are looking to the future.

The club looks to tie down Viola, Hetemaj and Tuia until June 2023, planning concrete developments in the coming weeks.

Hetemaj, who arrived from Chievo Verona in September 2019, has played 23 Serie A games this term but the 34-year-old’s current deal expires this summer.

The same goes for centre-back Tuia and captain Viola, who has struggled with an injury for most of the season but returned with a goal against Torino on January 22. He has since played 10 times in Serie A.

Tuia has played 22 League games in 2020-21 and the 30-year-old has been a vital member of Filippo Inzaghi’s squad.

Benevento ended a run of 11 games without a win and the three points against Juventus left them at 16th in Serie A with seven-point gap down to Cagliari at 18th.
