Empoli have officially signed Matteo Brighi and Levan Mchedlidze to new contracts after their promotion to Serie A.
The Tuscans won the Serie B championship and will be in the top flight next term.
Georgia international striker Mchedlidze has been at Empoli on and off for most of his career, save for a brief loan spell at Palermo.
His contract had expired on June 30, but the 28-year-old has now signed a new deal.
