After another season with 24 appearances for high flying Bologna, contributing six goals and three assists, Sinisa Mihajlovic looks set to extend his deal with another year at the Renato Dall’Ara.

After another season with 24 appearances for high flying Bologna, contributing six goals and three assists, Sinisa Mihajlovic looks set to extend his deal with another year at the Renato Dall’Ara.

The Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolò Schira reports that the Argentine’s future in Italian football might have been resolved. His current contract expires this summer, but the report claims that the two parties are ready to extend the deal.

The former Genoa star arrived in Serie A back in 2009, when he travelled from Boca Juniors to play at the Marassi and he has since racked up 310 games in the Italian top tier, scoring 87 times in the process.

Bologna only managed 1-1 against Udinese on Saturday, leaving them at tenth in the League, but only two points behind Napoli at sixth.

The Partenopei are currently occupying the last place qualifying for the Europa League next year, but will have to fend off the challenge from the Rossoblu, Hellas Verona, Milan and Parma to secure a place in Europe next year.
