Juventus goalkeeper Neto says his aim is to learn from ‘absolute number one’ Gigi Buffon.
The Brazilian joined the Bianconeri on a free transfer from Fiorentina this summer, a move which raised eyebrows given his probable lack of playing time.
“Since I came to Italy, I’ve always dreamed of playing for a top team,” Neto explained to Calcio2000.
“By coming to Juventus, I’ve fulfilled my dream. Since I was very young I wanted to join a team like this, and now I have to show I deserve it.

“On Buffon there’s not much to say, we’re talking about the absolute number one. Being by his side in training definitely helps me a lot.
“Thanks to him, I can certainly grow and improve faster. I watch the way he prepares for a match, the little things he does to stay at certain levels, and these are all important lessons which will be important for me.”
