Perugia have officially confirmed that Alessandro Nesta will stay on as Coach next season, despite failing to take them to Serie A.
The former centre-back was appointed for the play-offs, but his side were beaten 3-0 by Venezia, coached by his former teammate Pippo Inzaghi.
Today though Perugia have confirmed that Nesta has been given a contract until June 30 2019.
His assistant will be Lorenzo Rubinacci, with Francesco Vaccariello as the fitness coach, Massimo Lo Monaco as technical coach and Vincenzo Benvenuto as goalkeeping coach.
