Nedved under fire after visible frustration during Dybala’s substitution

The footage of Pavel Nedved shaking his head in despair whilst Paulo Dybala trudged off the pitch yesterday has caused controversy with fans.

In the 81st minute of Juventus’ 2-1 win over Cagliari yesterday, coach Massimiliano Allegri decided to switch out the Argentinian forward with Moise Kean. The footage then cut to Nedved in the stands, who was seen visibly frustrated as he shook his head.

As reported by Sky Sports Italia, this frustration did occur during the Dybala-Kean switch, despite the fact that Juventus and Nedved himself claim that it occured during another moment of the match.

When Allegri was asked about the situation after the game, he simply laughed and suggested that it happened at another point, but many are unconvinced.

Many are now speculating whether Nedved’s frustration was aimed at the outbound Dybala, who’ll be leaving on a free transfer in the summer, or Kean, who has struggled to show his best in Turin this season.
