The footage of Pavel Nedved shaking his head in despair whilst Paulo Dybala trudged off the pitch yesterday has caused controversy with fans.

In the 81st minute of Juventus’ 2-1 win over Cagliari yesterday, coach Massimiliano Allegri decided to switch out the Argentinian forward with Moise Kean. The footage then cut to Nedved in the stands, who was seen visibly frustrated as he shook his head.

As reported by Sky Sports Italia, this frustration did occur during the Dybala-Kean switch, despite the fact that Juventus and Nedved himself claim that it occured during another moment of the match.

When Allegri was asked about the situation after the game, he simply laughed and suggested that it happened at another point, but many are unconvinced.

Many are now speculating whether Nedved’s frustration was aimed at the outbound Dybala, who’ll be leaving on a free transfer in the summer, or Kean, who has struggled to show his best in Turin this season.

  1. I think he was Stress to See Kean Coming On me…. Because me Also was Stress…. This Kean Guy is Not Contributing Anything to This Club…. He Needs to Leave at the End of the Season…

  2. Maybe it was a combination of both after travelling to every Juve game to see medieval football week after week.

  3. Nedved never wanted his return and he should have also been axed. All problems lead to Agnelli and change will not happen until the big boss is removed by Elkann.

  4. I think nedved shaked his head because of allergi and always because of him

He should not return to Juve and just go abroad to real or PL maybe, he has learned english anyway

  5. Juve should sack Allegri and replace him with Carlo Ancelotti. They should forget about being competitive in Serie A and solely focus on the Champions League. They should also sack Agnelli and hire another Ferrari manager to take his place. Carlo should be replaced by Gigi Buffon when he retires in 2030.

  6. If he was complaining about Allegri and his choices, I’d encourage Nedved to go get his coaching license and walk a mile in his shoes.

I think Nedved’s time with the club has come to an end to be honest.

  7. Signing Kean back is the most ridiculous deal in recent years.
The second is the failure to exchange Dybala with Lukaku.
Come to get Dybala, Inter, this flop is all yours.

  8. You guys crack me up especially ruben tus. How can Juventus solely focus on the champions league when they cannot even compete with Ajax, Lyon, Porto and now Villarreal. If they focus on that tournament it will be Young Boys next season. Allegri will never coach abroad as no big team will put up with that nonsense and he will outed as the fraud that he has always been. Be very careful with Dybala. He is still a quality player and needs a new lease of life. Inter will motivate him to prove the hierarchy at Juve wrong just like Marotta and Conte. Just take a look at Kulu who is thriving at Spurs and scored a fine goal yesterday.

  9. @Zach.allegri had a contract with Real so that already makes your comment nonsense. Also, playing for Tottenham isn’t a step up for Kulu. Only 2 teams in EPL, City and Liverpool, that’s it. Good luck doing anything at Inter. I remember both Cannavaro and Pirlo struggling there and then look what happened.

  10. He was probably upset because he was sprinting off the field as if Juve were losing. Usually a player walks off in that situation. No one else noticed?

  11. If he would have smiled – the press would say he’s happy Kean in coming on and Dybala is off. Yellow press at it’s best. The way Nedved reacted means little

  12. While I empathize with the club about Dybala Injuries woes, he’s still the most creative player we have and the most explosive and he is the third highest none Italian goal scorer for the club, he should be treated better. Adjust his contract to reflect his appearances on the pitch an see if he’ll accept that for at least 1 year

  13. @Deon I think they’ve tried to do that but he’s a slave to his agent who cuts a tough deal. I’ll miss Dybala but not 10 million for 7 goals. Hopefully, that money is invested well elsewhere. And send Morata back to Madrid.

  14. @NOrata still believing in tabloids. I doubt Real Madrid ever gave him a concrete offer and if so he would be out quicker then Lopetegui. The biggest team in the world and the Bernabeu faithful would never tolerate his style of insipid football ever. Any of the top 6 EPL clubs would walk Serie a and funny how you do not even mention Chelsea, just ask Bodo Glimt.

  15. @Andy what are you talking about bro? Dybala is still one of yours best player, he carried Juventus since he came, and you call him flop, he’s 3rd best shooter at your team, Zou easily forgetting what player he was, and what he did for this club

  16. Our team lacks a media magnet so papers focus on anything they can get their hands on. Alegri’s mantra of “Calma” is great for improvement and team atmosphere but is a liability media wise. We need a Manzdu, Lichtsteiner, Marchiso type player with some sort of charisma that pull the spotlight away from the rest of the org. De ligt and Dusan are too young to take over.
As an example Milan has Ibra, Roma has Mou and so on

  17. Over critical press. Unfortunately Dybala is on the way out which is a shame as his link up play with Vlahovic was improving. Juve need to sort out transfer strategy. They have signed so many players who were not Juve quality. This has impacted the whole squad. A good clear out and bring in young Italian players who want to play for the shirt. Juve need to impose themselves again on teams. Thats is the problem this season. Allegri has tried to solidfy with what he has. Vlahovic was a master stroke and now juve need to build an attacking team to suit. Allegri could do it given the right players but lets just see how the summer pans out. Scudetto still with reach if results go their way! Forza Juve
