Pavel Nedved reveals Jose Mourinho “said I'd win the Champions League if I joined Inter, but I loved Juventus too much to accept.”
The now retired midfielder opted to hang up his boots rather than carry on elsewhere when Juve refused to renew his contract.
“Mourinho courted me constantly and said: come to Inter, I'll make you win the Champions League,” revealed Nedved on Mediaset Premium.
“He was convinced that he would take the trophy and he was right.

“But I was and am a Juventino, so I said no. I loved Juventus too much to join Inter.
“I really wish I'd been able to win the Champions League with Juve, but I couldn't do it with another jersey on my back.”
Nedved now works as a director at the Turin giants.
