Liveblog: Serie A Derby della Mole Super Saturday

“It’s natural that the derby is the most important game of the season for Torino, as they are just waiting for us to give their best. It’s an important match for Juventus, much like every other fixture,” the vice-president told DAZN.

Toro are a far more physically aggressive side under new coach Ivan Juric and Nedved was asked if the Bianconeri can match them.

“We have players very suited to this type of match, so we need to be on their level physically and in terms of intensity. I am sure we’ll do that.”

Adrien Rabiot is facing up against Wilfred Singo, whose pace could prove a problem. Can the France international keep up with him?

“I think he can, but I believe more often it’ll be with Alex Sandro than Rabiot. The important thing is to win the individual duels, as that is how you create problems for the opposition team. If you win the one-on-one duels, your life becomes easier elsewhere.”

Kean starts upfront, in the absence of injured Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata, though he was benched midweek in the 1-0 Champions League victory over Chelsea.

“We really believe in Kean, we chose him as our striker for the present and future. He knows the Juve world and I think he’s grown so much since he returned here. He scored 17 goals for Paris Saint-Germain, not everyone can do that. We brought in a lot of talented young players and I think Juve have a great future.”

  1. Sure, that’s why Kean just got replaced after the 1st half for Cuadrado against Torino. I can’t believe some Italians are happy Immobile hot injured (minor but still) and are happy that this useless kid comes on for him.

Toro are dominating them in every single expect. Let’s see that 2nd half.

  2. i surprised allegri took him off at halftime. because it was bernadeshi that should have come off. but once again the problems of last season present itself. the midfield especially rabiot who cant make a final pass. it is comical to watch
