Pavel Nedved is confident that his Juventus side are mature enough to handle the pressure at Celtic on Tuesday.
“I’m fully aware of the atmosphere that awaits us in Glasgow because I've experienced it first hand,” he told the Evening Times ahead of the last 16 Champions League clash.
“We'll be stepping into a lion’s den and I don't think the team will need geeing up. We'll have to tough it out, but we have shown that we're ready.”
Nedved, now a director at the club, was part of a Juve side who lost 4-3 to the Scottish giants at Celtic Park in 2001.
Italian champions Juventus will go into tomorrow's tie in form after comfortably disposing of Fiorentina 2-0 on Saturday.
“In January we had a slight dip in form, but you can't be at the top of your game over the course of a whole season,” Nedved added. “Now we're in form and ready for Europe.”
