Not only is Dybala back in the starting XI against Ferencvaros, but he has been given the captain’s armband in the Champions League clash.

“Every game is a test for Juventus players,” vice-president Nedved told Sky Sport Italia.

“We know Dybala is a very important player for this team, he was not in good shape, but he is recovering and this is a good test for both him and us to see what point he’s at now.”

If Juve win and Barcelona avoid defeat with Dynamo Kiev, then the Bianconeri will already be qualified for the Round of 16 this evening.

“We want to put in a good performance this evening and bring home the three points. It’s important to give a sense of consistency to our results and get closer to qualification for the next round.

“The sooner we do that, the more we can balance out the energy through various competitions.”
