Evan Ndicka has reportedly chosen which Serie A club he’ll join as both Roma and Milan compete for his signature. 

The 23-year-old Ivorian centre back is now a free agent after deciding to leave Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer, something confirmed by the Bundesliga outfit recently. He impressed during his five years in Germany, making 183 appearances for the club across all competitions.

Ndicka is seriously wanted by Roma and Milan, who have both prepared long-term contracts for the defender. The former offered the 23-year-old a five-year deal worth €4m net per season, whilst the latter proposed a five-year contract worth €3.5m net, rising over the years.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ndicka has decided to join Jose Mourinho’s Roma and will undergo his medicals with the club next week before putting pen to paper on the contract.

Once his arrival has been confirmed, the Giallorossi will look to sell defender Roger Ibanez, who is liked by Premier League clubs as well as Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid.
